'Catnip', the official publication of the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, one of the world's most prestigious veterinary schools, is a must have for any cat owner. Unlike magazines like 'Cat Fancy' (which I also enjoy), 'Catnip' focuses strictly on health related issues concerning domestic cats (including mental health issues.) The magazine isn't a slick, glossy type of publication; think of it as an operations and health manual for your cat: strictly factual, objective, and focused. In keeping with that image, it does not contain advertising. Although slim by magazine standards, the information contained is important and interesting, and in some cases could even help you save your cat's life. I highly recommend 'Catnip' for cat owners and lovers. It is an excellent value, and you will never find a better source of cutting edge feline information.
