As a subscriber to Martha Stewart Living and Everyday Food I looked forward to subscribing to Body+Soul, which has 'Whole living' on the cover. So I am a tad disappointed. First off it seems to leave men out as far as the articles go. Secondly the religious or spiritual leanings are very eastern, so for non believers of that genre of faith, the magazine leaves a lot to be desired. Even the ads are all women! So how about some honesty and call it Body+Soul for Women? Just got the May issue and there is a great article beginning on page 96 about Spring greens, or what I call mesclun lettuce mixes. Something I grow year round actually from seeds I buy from Renee's Garden. So that's a great article. On page 115 there is a helpful article Break The Sugar Habit. There is also a nice Vet column for those of us who have cats, dogs, birds etc. And a column called Connections which deals with books and other media interests.
