Published monthly, the magazine also releases a yearly calendar as well as a "collector's issue" as well. Coverage of professional and amatuer surfing contests/tours, local as well as international related events, industry related articles, travel features, exclusive interviews and most notably, cutting and insightful editorials/commentary by some of the industry's best writers compounded by inspiring photographs from the best water-photographers of the day make Surfer magazine the best magazine of its kind. Surfer magazine easily gives surfers and non-surfers the feeling of what it means to be a surfer.
